CLASSES in four major cities and one province in Northern Mindanao on Friday were declared suspended ahead of the expected landfall of Typhoon Ruby (international code name: Hagupit) on Saturday, December 6. Purito Velez, information officer of the Office of Civil Defense, said the local governments of Iligan, Oroquieta, Ozamiz, and Malaybalay cities and the province of Misamis Oriental have suspended classes from elementary to high school.
